Division 15 is moving along, jumping straight into things: Last week students began exploring concepts and procedures regarding Subtraction, while also examining the deductions from their paycheques. They started to learn about the types of narratives (i.e. First, Second and Third person) and how to use quotation marks; moving forward they will apply this knowledge in their album book “Ce n’est pas un carton”. We have also started work on the final version of our instruments, with students receiving feedback from their peers on how to improve their designs; and we have continued to discuss the large topic of territory. The highlight of the week for students was undoubtedly the skating field trip.
