The sun appeared at school this week for the first time this year. Students took advantage of the warmth and dryness to stretch their legs.
Overall, students have quickly accelerated to full learning speed:
- continuing to correct and improve their celebratory poems,
- learning about diverse portrait artists and choosing which artist’s style they will use for their subject portraits,
- grasping and practicing the complex techniques required to create topographical art,
- self-evaluating their “Le chant des caribous” artwork,
- finishing their blankets and blanket stories,
- studying addition operations with emphasis on place value,
- and the highlight of our week, creating Black Shirt Day posters for the school.
