School ended and summer started this week in a fiery way; bookending a school year defined by environmental challenges — fire smoke, pandemic, heat wave. More importantly though, the school year was defined by student perseverance and resilience, and an unconditional compassion towards peers and anyone needing to be heard and supported, throughout all the challenges. These students will, and already are, changing the world.
Over the last few weeks we winded down with some year-end activities such as bidding on the auction…
…completing the diversity of cultures project…
…digging up our potatoes…
…celebrating Indigenous Peoples Day…
Have a great summer, and see everyone in September!
