Over the last few weeks we have been reading Le Petit Prince and practising skills required for Lit. Circles: writing summaries, visualizing, asking questions, making inferences and connections, etc.
We attended and participated in the Resiliency Assembly, sharing with the school what we are grateful for. We later implemented resiliency strategies when we attempted to learn long division together. We also started learning about prime factorization.
We finished our final Group of Seven (+Emily Carr and Tom Thomson) art pieces. Students represented landscapes found within Stó:lō, Skwxwú7mesh, Nuu-Chah-Nulth, Dane-zaa, Tsilhqot’in, Syilx, Haida, etc.
