We completed the first paycheque of the year and the second one is around the corner. We also continued to explore regularities, in particular place value and the patterns we see within our number system. We have begun to expand our understandings of regularities into the measurement of time.
Students finished self-evaluating their core competencies and outlined their two goals for this term.
Students have also been exploring their own identity and the identity of their ancestors and elders. Putting together a simple Keynote presentation to show to peers.
We began to look at landforms, and will continue to explore their interconnectedness with the territories we live on and the natural forces that shape them (ice, wind and water). This will tie in nicely with our World Rivers Day art.
We celebrated Fall and the hallowed origins of some of its observances by making Calaveras in various forms.
