The lead up to Goal-Setting conferences has been busy:

Students have applied themselves to a variety of challenges that encouraged them to reflect on the six core competencies (Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Personal Awareness and Responsibility, Personal and Cultural Identity, Social Responsibility, and Communication).

Students have also been exploring how they are responsible for their actions, how our brains influence our actions and how our brains are different.

Students also participated in the the Student Vote, and later compared the results of the Adult Election with the results of their Election.

Students have been fabricating reusable bees wax food wraps with Mrs. Mehra in order to reduce their waste; a concrete way they are acting for the climate.

In addition to all that, students have continued their examination of regularities in math (with regards to time), and their study of stories.

Agenda:

  • Read ~15 minutes in french per day.
  • Food drive
  • Return Kerrisdale jersey
  • Halloween celebration on Thursday
