A new school year has started, and with it teachers and students are learning how to minimize, while maintaining quality, and how to be flexible, while acknowledging the comfort of routine.

The calm before the learning storm

This class blog is intended as a window into the learning that is occurring in the classroom. Please use it as an orientation to the class, as an update on your child’s in-school experiences and to help spur conversations at home beyond:

“What did you do at school today?”

“Nothing”

This first full week of school we principally started learning new class and school routines: the black hole, hand washing, entering and exiting the school safely, maintaining physical distance with friends outside of the class, etc.

We also started to check-in and work on Regularities in Mathematics, Free Writing and Individual Reading in French, Social-Emotional Well Being in the Spirit Journal and organizational skills in the agenda.

Looking forward to all the learning!
